Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food service or supervisory role preferred
  • Must complete a sanitation course either before or during first year
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to maintain emotional control under pressure
  • Capability to mentor and supervise staff
  • Willingness to work occasional nights and weekends
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic
  • Must complete a sanitation course before or during the first year
  • Knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program

Job Duties

  • Produce and maintain work schedules and prepare production packets
  • Direct daily activities
  • Maintain food production quality and safety
  • Ensure safe and organized food storage
  • Maintain serving schedules per menu specifications
  • Maintain sanitary conditions and comply with health and safety regulations
  • Manage weekly inventory accurately
  • Prepare orders to ensure accurate location production
  • Supervise and evaluate employees, promote employee growth and teamwork
  • Maintain safe and hazard-free work environment
  • Train and mentor other food service workers
  • Maintain equipment maintenance logs
  • Ensure completion of food safety and temperature logs with necessary corrective actions
  • Perform preventative maintenance checklist
  • Recommend equipment replacement when needed
  • Multitask proficiently
  • Perform duties requested by Food Service Director or Manager
  • Fill in for absent employees as needed
  • Coordinate daily catering events and ensure timely delivery
  • Work occasional nights and weekends for catered events
  • Attend food service meetings
  • Maintain communication with staff
  • Perform cashier duties as required
  • Promote good public relations
