Job Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Three or more years of experience in marketing, sales, or training
  • Minimum one year of people management or experience leading a team in sales or marketing
  • Strong relationship skills and ability to manage key stakeholders
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office including Word and PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to work independently and recognize when to involve others
  • Experience facilitating and collaborating with groups or teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience training or coaching others
  • Preferred candidate to be located in Honolulu, HI or willing to relocate to Honolulu, HI

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree
  • Two or more years of managerial experience
  • Ability to speak, read, or write Japanese
  • Experience within a branded timeshare organization

Job Duties

  • Shape and define strategic plan for marketing training programs for applicable region to exceed company objectives
  • Consult with on-site leadership team regularly to identify training needs
  • Develop and implement creative and engaging learning solutions in the form of instructor led, job aids, and other relevant training materials
  • Conduct regular needs analysis to determine the most appropriate training intervention
  • Utilize effective measurement tools such as surveys, assessments, and performance metrics to determine training effectiveness
  • Conduct train-the-trainer sessions and ongoing development sessions for on-site training staff and site management, including group and one-on-one coaching
  • Maintain all aspects of training facilitation including classroom management, preparation, presentation, participation management, coaching others, and technology utilization
  • Deliver new-hire training including follow-up and relevant curriculum
  • Communicate new product initiatives and policy changes impacting training programs or material
  • Maintain and regularly update training materials using MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
  • Develop tools to benchmark and identify industry best practices and incorporate findings internally
  • Partner with HGV Learning and Development team for consistency and best practice sharing
  • Select appropriate learning solutions vendors when necessary
  • Provide information on annual budget and resources needed
  • Work as Manager on Duty (MOD) for various desk locations to support marketing teams and coach/train members to drive business results
  • Facilitate other training programs as needed
