Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • two years progressively more challenging role in marketing or operations
  • supervisory experience preferred
  • proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel and Word)
  • ability to prepare, understand and analyze department budgets, capital expenditures and P&L statements
  • proven managerial and critical thinking skills required
  • ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations
  • excellent interpersonal and employee relations skills
  • ability to work collaboratively with other departments and leaders

Job Duties

  • Communicate and coordinate with the internal marketing staff to understand business and marketing objectives and ensure deadlines are met
  • assist with social media content strategy, implementation and monitoring duties as assigned
  • write rules and regulations for promotions and special events
  • coordinate with other departments as necessary to ensure successful events
  • gather data and trends, utilize internal database analysis tools and draft reports
  • promote customer relations including handling customer complaints and delivering comps
  • provide administrative support including scheduling and organizing activities such as meetings, travel, conferences and department activities
  • establish, develop, maintain and update library of documentation such as regulatory material, trade journals and magazines
  • photocopy and fax information and documents as needed
  • complete various forms such as purchase orders and check requests including obtaining appropriate authority signatures and distribution
  • report on casino marketing operations to the Director of Casino Marketing
  • assist the marketing department as needed
