Job Requirements
- B.A. degree from a four year college in Hospitality, Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Communications or Journalism
- 3-5 years minimum experience in marketing, strategy and media initiatives from concept to completion
- Proven record of online engagement and listening
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Comprehensive knowledge of marketing, advertising, public relations, and digital strategy
- Exceptional command of the English language, oral and written
- Professional presentation skills
- Ability to build rapport and develop alliances
- Demonstrates honesty, fairness, and trustworthiness.

Job Duties
- Drives venue revenue through innovative and collaborative marketing tactics
- Works with internal and external stakeholders to maximize marketing resources while maintaining brand integrity
- Develops partnerships with customers, clients, industry influencers, and associations to promote the venue's reputation
- Utilizes sales and marketing principles to promote the venue and stay current with emerging marketing trends
- Assists in creating, developing, and implementing the venue Marketing and Advertising Plan
- Maintains the facility's website and produces editorial, blog, and news content
- Creates facility ads for print and digital media
- Develops and maintains the venue email marketing program focusing on database acquisition and lead generation
- Implements and maintains corporate sponsorships in collaboration with OVG Corporate Partnerships
- Develops, designs, and oversees production of marketing collateral including brochures, sales sheets, and presentation decks
- Manages and implements digital advertising strategy and optimizes social media and digital buys
- Curates and posts engaging content across all social media platforms
- Develops marketing materials and procedures for effective Sales and Marketing Department operations
- Monitors, analyzes data and creates management reports evaluating marketing strategies
- Establishes and maintains relationships with media, industry influencers, and strategic partners
- Seeks and maintains contacts with media representatives, civic and industry organizations, and booking representatives
- Develops and implements client advertising and sponsorship programs
- Collaborates with venue partners on marketing plans for events
- Works directly with event and show staff on publicity and marketing opportunities
- Attends seminars and conventions to enhance industry knowledge
- Performs other duties as assigned.
