Job Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant marketing experience

Job Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years in a traditional concert, touring, venue, or live event marketing role
- a deep understanding of the concert and event landscape
- knowledge of artist management ecosystem including agents, management, tour promoters, and artist marketing representatives
- proven ability to lead full-cycle marketing campaigns for ticketed events
- experience managing marketing budgets and event-specific campaign budgets
- proven experience managing large-scale fan databases and email marketing campaigns using platforms like Mailchimp, Hive, or Salesforce/Ticketmaster tools
- ability to translate complex marketing data into clear performance recaps
- track record of using data-driven insights to improve marketing ROI
- ability to manage multiple event timelines in a fast-paced environment
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to work independently
- ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- willingness to work non-traditional hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Lead the execution of marketing and public relations plans for self-promoted and co-promoted events
- serve as the primary marketing liaison for artists, agents, and tour managers
- partner closely with the Event Sales Team to create high-impact sell sheets, digital decks, and social content showcasing CarMax Park and its venues
- work with the Richmond Flying Squirrels creative and marketing teams to produce graphic design, video content, and cross-promotional campaigns
- oversee an annual marketing budget and individual show-settlement budgets to maximize ROI
- negotiate and execute media buys across print, digital, radio, television, OOH, and OTT
- capture high-energy content during events and oversee night-of-show marketing activations
- develop and execute social media strategies to build the 804Live brand
- manage fan databases and craft segmented email marketing campaigns
- lead post-show recaps analyzing marketing performance to provide actionable insights
- participate in artist booking meetings and contribute to event pro-formas and budgets
- develop venue scaling and pricing strategies
- create pre-sale and on-sale activation plans
- regularly review and analyze ticket sales and event forecasts
- analyze consumer data to optimize campaigns and build smarter marketing plans
