Job Requirements

  • Availability must include dining service hours Monday through Friday 11 am - 2 pm and 5 pm - 7 pm
  • prior marketing related experience
  • customer service experience
  • knowledge of social media platforms
  • excellent communication skills written and verbal
  • problem-solving ability
  • teamwork and adaptability skills
  • knowledge of graphic design tools is a plus
  • prior event management experience
  • high interest in and knowledge of digital and interactive marketing
  • ability to manage multiple projects
  • technical creativity and emotional intelligence

Job Qualifications

  • Prior marketing related experience such as SEO, social media or brand management, paid advertising, or content marketing
  • customer service experience and knowledge
  • knowledge of social media platforms
  • best interpersonal skills including diplomacy, collaboration, respect, public speaking, etiquette, storytelling
  • high interest and knowledge of interactive marketing and digital marketing trends
  • knowledge of graphic design tools such as Canva, InDesign, CapCut or similar video editing software is a plus
  • understanding of AI usage in content creation and audience analysis
  • prior event management experience including planning and execution
  • excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Job Duties

  • Assist with planning, organizing and hosting all events
  • assist with Dine on Campus initiatives
  • assist in social media calendar development and promotions
  • act as a brand representative
  • conduct marketing audits
  • conduct general administrative tasks
  • complete Marketing Boot Camp
  • survey students to collect marketing research
  • create marketing materials to numerous specifications
  • manage signage in multiple locations
  • assist with the creation of concepts, campaigns, and imagery to effectively communicate messages to the target market
  • manage website and social networking profile content
  • attend meetings or other events as required
