Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
  • minimum three years’ experience in marketing, entertainment or public relations
  • must be able to obtain and maintain the required STGC gaming license
  • must undergo pre-employment and random drug screening
  • ability to work long hours including weekends and overtime
  • ability to work under stressful conditions
  • punctual and regular attendance
  • ability to perform physical activities including standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, kneeling, reaching, talking, and balancing

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
  • three years’ experience in marketing, entertainment or public relations
  • experience in marketing and advertising of entertainment events
  • strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • excellent written and oral communication skills
  • understanding of live entertainment production
  • strong organizational skills
  • ability to create budgets and proformas for events
  • proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Access, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • ability to communicate effectively and professionally
  • ability to manage multiple projects independently
  • ability to analyze research data
  • ability to build strong associations with internal and external partners
  • ability to meet firm deadlines with quick turnaround times
  • knowledge of entertainment demands

Job Duties

  • Partner with marketing manager for advertising and promoting marketing events
  • assist marketing manager in facilitating approvals with artists for use of name and likeness
  • monitor staff performance to ensure guest service standards are achieved
  • assist with overall marketing of Sandia Resort & Casino as needed
  • book entertainment at Sandia Resort & Casino venues and off-property locations
  • coordinate production elements such as sound, lighting, scenery, props, special effects, and projections
  • manage visiting artist personal and technical riders
  • contract and liaise with technical director for lights and sound
  • monitor entertainment profitability
  • partner with various departments to ensure marketing event success
  • review marketing materials for event promotion
  • collaborate with internal and external agencies for radio, television, outdoor, digital and social media exposure
  • communicate effectively with all partners, leadership and finance department
  • coordinate and schedule venue personnel such as security, ushers, concession workers, catering, housekeeping
  • lead ticket pricing strategy and partner with Box Office Manager for ticket sales and reports
  • manage Sandia Amphitheater entertainment performances in conjunction with operational partners
  • coordinate artist specifics for hotel, food & beverage, security, transportation
  • perform other duties as assigned
