Job Requirements

  • enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a bachelor’s program or master’s program
  • retain a 2.0 GPA as a bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a master level student
  • maintain good financial and academic SAP standing with the university
  • willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends
  • requires personal transportation for field events
  • ability to cope with changing priorities and complete projects with competing deadlines

Job Qualifications

  • attention to detail and reliability are a must
  • high level of confidence and leadership to assume lead roles
  • flexible schedule including evening and weekend availability
  • must be able to commit to working the maximum allotted hours
  • ability to learn programs quickly such as Excel, CRM, Visio, Prezi
  • strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • ability to lift up to 25lbs is preferred
  • must be able to work summers

Job Duties

  • staffs events at a lead position
  • performs beginning, middle and post event tasks
  • builds and maintains a variety of event materials and spreadsheets
  • updates training materials
  • tracks budget entries
  • provides general administrative support
  • communicates effectively with team members and stakeholders
