Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in marketing communications event management or related field or equivalent experience
  • minimum 1-3 years of experience in event coordination marketing communications or related role
  • strong project management skills including ability to juggle multiple projects manage timelines and deliverables track details and meet deadlines
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to engage collaborate effectively with internal colleagues external vendors and event attendees
  • highly detail-oriented and organized with ability to work under pressure and handle last-minute changes
  • comfortable with travel local regional national and being on-site for events
  • enjoys being around people and comfortable working in live event environments interacting with attendees vendors staff and managing on-site activations
  • proficiency with standard office tools including Microsoft Office suite Google Docs Sheets Slides
  • experience with marketing event tools including registration platforms CRM marketing automation event management systems
  • ability to adapt quickly in dynamic environment take initiative work independently and as part of a team

  • ability to adapt quickly in dynamic environment take initiative work independently and as part of a team
  • experience with digital marketing and communications preferred
  • experience negotiating vendor contracts and managing event budgets preferred
  • familiarity with design tools such as Canva Adobe Creative Suite or website content-management systems preferred
  • prior experience in telecommunications technology services or a B2B B2C service environment preferred
  • based in or willing to relocate to Boise Idaho or surrounding area preferred

Job Duties

  • Plan coordinate and execute marketing events and activations including trade shows community events customer and employee engagement events sponsorship activations
  • manage event logistics including venue selection vendor contracts setup and breakdown attendee registration travel accommodations materials and on-site support
  • develop project plans and timelines for each event including budgets vendor management and resource coordination
  • work cross-functionally with internal teams to align event strategy and messaging with business objectives and brand standards
  • support communications efforts by preparing content and materials for email campaigns newsletters social media posts signage brochures and other collateral
  • maintain and update marketing collateral inventory event supplies and materials
  • track measure and report on event performance and communications metrics and use insights for continuous improvement
  • serve as the on-site point of contact for events managing event setup troubleshooting issues coordinating staff and volunteers and ensuring smooth execution
  • travel to event sites as needed local regional or occasional national travel representing the organization professionally
  • ensure brand consistency across all events and communication touchpoints
  • manage multiple concurrent projects with strong attention to detail and meet deadlines within a fast-paced evolving environment
  • perform other marketing and communications tasks as assigned
