Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in business, marketing, project management, or relevant field
- 5 to 8 years of experience in a similar role
- Hands-on corporate event planning and logistics experience
- Experience with project management software such as Asana or Smartsheets
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including extended hours
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to build strong professional relationships
- Knowledge of internal business practices and priorities
- Willingness to uphold company values of care, trust, courage, and stewardship
- Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States
- Preference for candidates located in Eastern or Central Time zones
Job Qualifications
- High degree of technical competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other applications
- 5 to 8 years of experience in a similar role
- Background in professional services operations including public accounting or law firm environment is a plus
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in business, marketing, project management, or relevant field
- Experience with project management software such as Asana or Smartsheets
- Previous experience with Workfront and Cvent is a plus
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including extended hours
- Hands-on corporate event planning and logistics experience ideally in professional services
- Experience defining event and meeting objectives and ROI
- Oversight of projects, budgets, and resource allocation for operational efficiency
- Experience managing event resources in a distributed model
- Ability to build strong professional relationships internally and externally
- Preference for candidates in Eastern or Central Time zone
- Excellent project management and organizational skills with multitasking ability
Job Duties
- Responsible for daily management and operations related to assigned account event processes and tasks
- Serve as the primary contact for the aligned account for events
- Operational planning and management for all assigned events including market-facing events, leadership meetings, and internal events
- Scheduling and resource coordination for all events
- Creation and implementation of an event project plan with objectives, budgets, timing, and assignments covering logistics, vendor coordination, technical needs, and data handoff
- Ensure operational efficiency and adherence to approved event budgets, firm policies, and departmental processes
- Identify vendor requirements for sourcing and recommend best solutions
- Coordinate with external vendors and event operations team members to meet delivery expectations and timelines
- Collaborate to expedite review and approval of event requests and associated tasks
- Coordinate with event sponsors for attendee and engagement data handoff
- Accountability for operational execution and production excellence, excluding event messaging and promotional planning
