Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in business, marketing, project management, or relevant field
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant applications
  • Hands-on event planning and logistics experience
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including extended hours
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to build professional working relationships
  • Experience with project management software such as Asana or Smartsheets
  • Knowledge of event budgeting and resource management
  • Preference for candidates in Eastern or Central Time zones

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related applications
  • Experience with project management software such as Asana or Smartsheets
  • Hands-on corporate event planning and logistics experience
  • Experience defining event objectives and ROI
  • Ability to manage projects, budgets, and resource allocation effectively
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to build professional relationships at all levels
  • Flexible schedule adaptability including extended hours
  • Background in professional services operations is a plus
  • Experience with Workfront and Cvent is a plus
  • Preference for candidates in Eastern or Central Time zones

Job Duties

  • Serve as the primary contact for the aligned Account for events
  • Operate daily management and operations related to assigned Account event processes and related tasks
  • Plan and manage all assigned events including market-facing events, leadership meetings, and internal events
  • Schedule and coordinate resources for all events
  • Create and implement event project plans with objectives, budgets, timing, and assignments including logistics, vendor coordination, and technical requirements
  • Ensure operational efficiency and adherence to event budgets, firm policies, and departmental processes
  • Identify vendor requirements and recommend solutions based on event scope
  • Coordinate with external vendors and Event Operations team to resolve issues and meet delivery expectations
  • Collaborate to expedite review and approval of event requests and tasks
  • Coordinate with event sponsors to ensure appropriate handoff of attendee and engagement data
