Job Requirements
- a Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
- 3-5 years experience managing a Marketing Team and sizable Marketing budget preferred
- knowledge of marketing fundamentals and research
- ability to learn and use new systems
- strong organizational and time management skills
- excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills
- ability to deal with multiple tasks effectively and establish priorities
- strong attention to detail
- excellent with PC Excel MS Word PowerPoint and Social Media skills

Job Duties
- develop and identify new opportunities to increase mall promotional income consistently working toward achieving promotional income goals
- conduct and analyze market research related to the shopping center to inform marketing plan development
- prepare obtain approval implement and evaluate a comprehensive shopping center Marketing Plan with an emphasis on increasing profitability
- collaborate on the preparation and approval of an annual marketing budget detailing income sources promotional expenses and advertising costs
- establish and maintain strong proactive relationships with merchants fostering collaboration between management and retail partners
- engage with community groups and local media in a public relations capacity to sponsor events
- ensure compliance with Merchants' Association By-Laws and oversee operation of the Marketing Fund
- organize and facilitate Merchants' Association or Advisory Board meetings and marketing-related committees or events
- supervise control and organization of office supplies equipment marketing payroll and insurance obligations
- manage inventory and care of promotional materials seasonal decor and promotional supply rooms
- perform mall office duties including weekend shifts and collaborate with mall office staff
- stay informed on industry trends through publications newsletters and corporate communications
- participate in corporate advertising marketing and promotional programs enhancing center benefits
- maintain open communication with corporate marketing office updating them on key events and issues
- utilize strong sales skills to generate income through sponsorships media partnerships and advertising
- be open to periodic travel as required
- stay up to date with social media trends managing updates on the center's social media and website as needed
