Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience with event calendaring
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Experience in public relations and social media
  • Ability to prioritize and solve problems effectively
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively
  • Creative and innovative mindset
  • Preferred knowledge of the music industry

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 to 4 years of related work experience
  • Experience in calendaring events
  • Proficient in MS Office including Excel, Word, Outlook and Photoshop
  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven public relations and social media skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Creative thinker who thinks outside the box
  • Knowledge of the music industry preferred

Job Duties

  • Build and maintain ad plans for shows, tours and festivals
  • Assist in media buying coordination
  • Build and manage Google marketing campaigns
  • Create work orders for radio and television promotions
  • Manage flyer distributions
  • Create and review press releases
  • Coordinate press requests with publicists
  • Serve as public relations liaison
  • Monitor marketing trends and implement new strategies
  • Analyze fan base demographics for targeted promotions
  • Advance day-of-show marketing activities including radio setups and media escorts
  • Create and distribute weekly newsletters
  • Manage e-cards and e-blasts using marketing tools
  • Develop and manage social media accounts and promotions
  • Collaborate with artists for social media campaigns
  • Monitor marketing budget and provide cost reports
  • Maintain relationships with partners, co-promoters and media
  • Organize community involvement initiatives and artist promotions
  • Participate in hiring and training interns and street teams
  • Manage office administrative tasks including expense reports and supplies ordering
