Job Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree from four-year college or university
- Two years related experience and/or training
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to type at least 40 words per minute
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign
- Ability to read and interpret technical and business-related documents
- Ability to effectively communicate and present information
- Capacity to solve practical problems with limited standardization
Job Qualifications
- Baccalaureate degree from four-year college or university and two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Two years related A/E/C and writing experience and/or training preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to write proposals, qualification packages, reports, and business correspondence effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and working knowledge of Adobe InDesign
- Strong typing skills at a pace of not less than 40 words per minute
- Ability to analyze and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and the public
Job Duties
- Guide project managers and technical staff on marketing and business development best practices and procedures
- Oversee and manage qualifications-based proposal planning and assist with strategy
- Work as part of a marketing team to coordinate and deliver high-quality engineering and environmental proposals
- Develop schedules, draft outlines, resumes, and past experience write-ups with project managers
- Coordinate proposal writing efforts with engineering and planning teams
- Collaborate with graphics staff to create engaging visuals for proposals and marketing materials
- Write, edit, proofread, produce, and deliver proposals with assistance from technical staff
- Review daily subscription notices for requests for proposals and distribute as necessary
- Maintain database information on staff, projects, clients, and vendors
- Coordinate with project managers to update sales pipeline information in Deltek
- Track submitted proposals, report results, and assist with debriefings
- Prepare Statements of Qualifications
- Coordinate trade show exhibits, promotions, packaging, shipping, and participate in trade shows when necessary
- Support community organization event preparations
- Manage client interactions on teaming arrangements
- Perform additional duties such as presentations, marketing collateral, and data entry as assigned
