Job Qualifications

  • Four-year college degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related career experience
  • Minimum 1-3 years' experience in a marketing role through work or internship
  • Interest or experience in sports or entertainment marketing is a plus
  • Creative thinking, strong initiative, and verbal presentation skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Self-starter, strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in computer applications such as WordPress, Windows Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Illustrator/Photoshop, Activity Stream, and CRM tools
  • Proficient in social platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube

Job Duties

  • Assist Marketing Manager in show cycle support, coordinating ad buys with media reps, and communications
  • Coordinate all social media channel content and promotions, including event announcements, pre-sales, on sale, contests, sweepstakes, show photos, venue branding, and partner promotion
  • Manage 400,000 plus email marketing database by distributing targeted presale, on sale, newsletters, and survey emails
  • Update the venue's online assets, including WordPress website and venue-owned assets, including marquees, ribbon boards, and concourse flatscreen TVs
  • Manage flyer creation and distribution for promotional purposes
  • Assist with the coordination and implementation of promotional initiatives that are planned inside the arena and in the local marketplace
  • Support paid media traffic for media buys
  • Draft contracts for house photographers, graphic designers, and partners
  • Manage event checklists and develop promotions calendar
  • Track social media and email marketing analytics to report monthly
  • Support the membership program by gathering ticket requests for fulfillment
  • Meet and escort media at concerts
  • Assist in the coordination of artist/promoter gift
  • Manage venue photos and video libraries
  • Duties are subject to change in accordance with Manager and Tour needs
