Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Must be 21 years or older
- Related experience preferred
- Basic Microsoft Office skills required
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills
- Must pass all required pre-screening and background checks
- Internal candidates must meet transfer and promotion policy requirements
- Ability to work a variety of shifts including day, swing, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts
- Must obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license
- Must be able to move, sit, stand, or walk for extended periods
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Must be able to work in environments with smoking, noise, and live entertainment
- Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues
- Must maintain confidentiality and demonstrate honesty and integrity
- Must follow company safety procedures and complete work safely
- Must maintain regular attendance and professionalism throughout workday
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Provide backup and support to the marketing department with planning, implementing, and monitoring marketing campaigns
- Answer in-bound telephone calls promptly and professionally, direct sales calls, and take/deliver messages appropriately
- Assist with property promotions and be familiar with all marketing activities and events
- Input marketing invoices in shared departmental files and verify invoice coding
- Research and negotiate with vendors to ensure best pricing on marketing collateral/materials
- Prepare and log purchase requests, purchase orders, and check requests for the marketing team
- Order marketing office supplies and other materials as needed
- Assist database coordinator with generating offers/target lists for direct marketing initiatives
- Track approvals and check accuracy on variable data and cross-check against target lists and database
- Create and produce promotional and property-wide signage and update signage as needed
- Review and monitor company website and make updates or edits, including band schedules and promotions
- Book live entertainment at the discretion of marketing director/manager
- Maintain and update entertainment schedules and contact logs
- Provide excellent internal guest service and maintain professional, friendly, and calm demeanor in high-stress situations
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with managers, staff, guests, and vendors
- Ensure work is completed accurately, efficiently, and safely
- Comply with company safety policies and respond appropriately in emergencies
- Maintain regular attendance and professionalism
- Assist with training and mentoring new team members
- Maintain appearance standards as per uniform guidelines
- Report any irregularities or unusual situations to manager on duty
- Maintain confidentiality of department and property information
- Work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision
- Remain compliant with all regulatory requirements for the industry
