Job Requirements

  • 2-4 years of related work experience
  • experience calendaring events
  • proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Word, Outlook and Photoshop
  • basic accounting knowledge
  • strong written and verbal communication skills
  • strong public relations skills
  • social media savvy
  • excellent organization skills
  • strong work ethic
  • ability to problem solve and prioritize tasks
  • ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • knowledge of the music industry preferred

Job Duties

  • builds and maintains ad plans for festivals
  • assists in coordination of media buying
  • builds Google campaigns
  • creates work orders for radio, television and manages flyer distributions
  • evaluates and revises marketing strategies to increase ticketing revenue and event exposure
  • creates, previews and reviews press releases
  • coordinates press requests with publicists
  • serves as a public relations liaison
  • monitors marketing trends and implements new marketing campaigns
  • analyzes fan base demographics for targeted promotions
  • helps coordinate and advance day-of-show activities including media setups and escorts
  • creates, proofreads and distributes weekly newsletters
  • orders and deploys e-cards and e-blasts
  • researches new promotional activities and designs social media posting schedules
  • monitors budget and accounting for marketing efforts
  • maintains good working relationships with partners and media
  • develops community engagement initiatives
  • organizes artist promotions and meet and greets
  • participates in hiring and training interns and street teams
  • manages office administration tasks including expense reports and calendar updates
