Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, business administration, marketing or a directly related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in event planning
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as necessary
  • Capacity to travel for onsite events, training, and team meetings
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Proficiency with event management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing or a directly related field
  • 2+ years of experience in event planning
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale events
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Proficient in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite

Job Duties

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of events including corporate events, conferences, trade shows, and special occasions
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, goals, and requirements for each event
  • Develop detailed event plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and venues
  • Oversee event logistics including registration, transportation, catering, audiovisual needs, and accommodations
  • Coordinate with marketing and communications teams to promote events and maximize attendance
  • Coordinate onsite event staff and volunteers to ensure smooth event operations
