The Fayetteville Woodpeckers are a professional minor league baseball team based in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Job Requirements
- Part-time, non-exempt, seasonal employment status
- ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- willingness to arrive up to one hour prior to game time
- ability to stand for up to four hours at a time
- ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
- ability to function in a high activity and heavily crowded outdoor sports venue environment
- ability to use hands, talk, hear, walk, climb stairs, reach, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed
- ability to write, read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence

- knowledge of social platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram
- creative and solution-minded individual
- strong organizational and time management skills
- excellent writing and editing skills
- general knowledge of baseball is preferred

- ability to work extended or unpredictable hours including weekdays, weekends and holidays
- ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop, and Premiere
- understanding of video production, story structure, and visual storytelling
- shared passion for the business and desire to positively influence the business
Job Duties
- Assist with the development and posting of engaging content to the Woodpeckers Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Tik Tok
- interact with and respond to fans/users comments, questions, etc.
- assist with the creation of collateral
- assist with event-day marketing including press operations, ticket distribution, analytics and fan engagement
- maintain content calendar to ensure correct and relevant content
- focus on grassroots marketing by attending community events promoting upcoming games
- assist in the creation of unique, behind-the-scenes content and graphics for Woodpeckers media
- update image and b-roll library and maintain its organization throughout the season
- assist the Special Events department for day-of-event hospitality when needed
- support the Events/PR and Sponsorships team in day-to-day tasks
- perform duties as assigned
