Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- four years of work-related experience
- specialized training as a Certified Special Events Professional, Certified Special Events Coordinator or Certified Special Events Manager preferred
- valid driver's license
- ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen

- experience with Customer Relationship Management

Job Duties
- Responsible for the successful marketing and promotion of an eight-million-dollar Park's Enterprise Operation
- managing, planning, and coordinating Parks+Rec special events
- working with the County PIO and Office of Communications to develop press releases and marketing pieces
- developing and maintaining relationships with media outlets and publishers for media buys and press coverage
- managing all aspects of the Parks & Rec website and social media outlets
- addressing social media inquiries through Customer Relationship Management
- collaborating on promotional campaigns and public information dissemination
