Job Requirements

  • Minimum two years' experience performing administrative duties
  • Minimum two years' marketing experience preferably in hotel or food and beverage industry
  • Prior professional social media experience
  • Ability to work varying schedules according to business needs
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to understand guests' service needs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Minimum two years excellent computer proficiency with Windows OS
  • Ability to type 50+ words per minute
  • Experience in Photoshop or similar software
  • Experience with social media management tools
  • Excellent communication etiquette
  • Ability to use professional email
  • Relevant military experience a plus

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum two years marketing experience preferably in the hotel or food and beverage industry
  • Prior experience with commercial social media management required
  • Relevant military experience in a comparable capacity
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and write enticing copy following brand voice
  • Ability to communicate verbally with guests, management, and co-workers
  • Ability to present information effectively to various audiences
  • Professional email etiquette
  • Proficiency in English written and verbal communication
  • Excellent computer proficiency with Windows OS including Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook, and Excel
  • Experience with Photoshop or similar software
  • Experience with business internet websites and social media management tools such as Sprinklr
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud or equivalent digital media editing tools desired
  • Experience with Canva for content creation
  • Experience managing and responding to social media channels
  • Excellent telephone and electronic communication etiquette

Job Duties

  • Assist director of sales and marketing with management of in-house collateral and other marketing projects and research
  • Assist with brand management and collateral for the hotel
  • Create and source images, post, manage, and respond to all hotel social media accounts using CANVA and other digital tools
  • Maintain up-to-date and detailed knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
  • Coordinate and execute social media postings and paid social campaigns with assistance from the corporate marketing team
  • Manage Yelp, Google My Business, OpenTable, and Tripadvisor accounts including guest feedback responses
  • Respond to inbound website inquiries
  • Manage website email database and email blasts
  • Perform F&B checkbook coding, input, and printing
  • Manage and coordinate outlet menus with director of F&B
  • Maintain information boards for the hotel
  • Create weekly snapshots of hotel events and activities
  • Update elevator and common area monitors with current F&B information
  • Manage large party reservations and special menu requests
  • Oversee pre-order functions and prospect new business with monthly revenue goals
  • Attend off-site special events and produce live social media content
  • Research and network for new special event opportunities
