Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in relevant field
  • one or more years of related employment experience
  • strong writing and communication skills
  • proficiency with social media platforms and digital marketing tools
  • ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • willingness to work nontraditional hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • physical ability to perform tasks including walking, standing, carrying up to 15 pounds
  • adaptability to a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • customer service orientation and ability to handle inquiries

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Advertising, Marketing, Journalism, Communications or related field preferred
  • one or more years of employment in a related position
  • some graphic design experience preferred
  • previous event management experience a plus
  • proficient in position required job skills and knowledge
  • strong attention to detail and writing skills
  • excellent prioritization and time management
  • ability to adjust to changes and meet deadlines
  • confident independent thinker
  • energetic self-starter with strong initiative
  • excellent interpersonal skills and communication

Job Duties

  • Manage social media for Terminal Bar, Press, Cooper Lounge, Pigtrain, Milkbox and Baumé
  • assist with social media for Denver Union Station
  • create content, production, posting and online engagement
  • attend meetings with restaurants to gather information and content
  • maintain brand voice and build engagement across social channels
  • stay updated on social media trends and apply new marketing methods
  • assist with updating station and Sage entities websites
  • manage holiday and area events calendar on property websites
  • help execute Denver Union Station marketing events including communication with talent and entertainment
  • be onsite as needed for marketing events
  • share responsibility for newsletter management
  • manage Denver Union Station email inbox and respond to inquiries and complaints
  • manage lighting and lighting requests of Union Station building
  • monitor chatter across social media and digital PR outlets
