Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, event management, or related field or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or event coordination, nonprofit experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable with social media management tools and basic design software
- Highly organized with strong multitasking and time management skills
- Willingness to work some evenings and weekends for events
- A positive, mission-driven mindset and the ability to represent the organization professionally

Job Duties
- Create and implement marketing strategies that increase awareness and support organizational goals
- Manage social media platforms including content creation, scheduling, and engagement across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X/Twitter
- Design marketing materials such as newsletters, flyers, event invitations, and digital graphics using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools
- Support website updates, email campaigns, and press releases
- Track and report marketing performance metrics to guide improvements
- Highlight programs, impact stories, and donor recognition through mission-centered storytelling
- Plan and execute events including fundraisers, community outreach, donor gatherings, and staff events
- Manage event timelines, budgets, vendors, and logistics to ensure smooth operations
- Promote events across multiple marketing channels
- Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers for event support
- Serve as on-site point of contact during events to ensure everything runs seamlessly
- Prepare post-event evaluations and outcome reports
