Job Requirements
- Must be enrolled in a college program during the internship, preferably studying marketing, advertising, journalism, public relations, or a related field
- intern must be a sophomore entering their junior year, or a junior or senior in college in a related field at the time of internship
- good communication skills with the ability to think independently and creatively
- prior social media experience
- working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- basic knowledge of graphic design software and/or photography/videography experience
- must speak with clarity, and read and write English fluently

Job Duties
- Develop social media posts and calendar
- assist with event planning and execution for local events
- perform website updates when applicable
- complete a marketing/communication project over the summer that will be agreed upon by both the intern and the Director of Air Service Development and Strategic Marketing
- assist in writing content for website, Strictly Business, and news stories
- assist with video and photography projects needed by Lincoln Airport Authority
- assist in the collection of customer feedback and analyzing data for customer surveys
- attend applicable staff, stakeholder, and vendor meetings when available
- reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position
- other duties, tasks, and responsibilities may be assigned at any time
