Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, graphic design, or related field
  • Graphic design experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent interpersonal relations and communications skills
  • Strong organizational, writing, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with WordPress and Microsoft Office products preferred
  • Ability to maintain creativity and contribute to a professional, fun, and energetic environment
  • Detail oriented

Job Qualifications

  • Graphic design experience with Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Proficiency in WordPress and Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent interpersonal relations and communication skills
  • Strong organizational, writing, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of creativity
  • Experience in developing and managing marketing strategies
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners
  • Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Job Duties

  • Develop and implement the overall communications and marketing strategy, track and maintain the budget
  • Develop membership promotional strategies with the Senior Manager of Membership & Family Services to recruit new members and encourage retention
  • Collaborate with external organizations to promote Family Wellness and increase community relations and awareness through partnerships and sponsorships
  • Assist with the coordination, development, and implementation of internal communication pieces for staff and members
  • Work with department managers under the direction of the Director of Administration to support departmental needs and contribute to creative solutions
  • Promote new programs and events through social media, printed materials, email campaigns, and digital display content
  • Plan, create and manage an engaging social media strategy across various platforms
  • Review company documents for adherence to brand standards and communication
  • Manage the Family Wellness Fargo website
  • Capture member feedback through member surveys and use data to assess needs
  • Collaborate with vendors to design and develop promotional items and merchandise
  • Identify the effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives and optimize accordingly
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
