Job Requirements

Valid driver license, free of serious or frequent traffic violations
Ability to obtain and maintain an Airport security badge
Subject to a ten year background check for security clearance
Ability to lift, carry, push and pull objects up to 30 pounds
Ability to perform close work to read and use computer
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English
Must be a self-starter and able to work independently and with a team
Must be of good moral character and adhere to professional ethical standards
Ability to work some nights, early mornings and weekends for special events
Ability to travel locally
Ability to move mobile community wide for business needs

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing, communications, or related field
1-3 years of related marketing, communications and/or customer relations experience
Strong writing and interpersonal skills
Experience with graphic design, photo/video editing, and digital content creation
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Photoshop and Canva
Knowledge of social media platform development and management
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Professional poise and communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks under deadlines
Basic photography and design principles

Job Duties

Produce and design graphics for both digital and print materials, including flyers, billboards, brochures, web content, digital ads, and social media graphics
Write and edit materials for diverse channels and audiences, including social media posts, website posts, and media briefs
Respond to social media posts and answer requests for information
Advise supervisor and other departments of concerns and questions brought by the public
Identify, recommend and develop marketing tactics to support Airport's communications needs and goals
Coordinate and facilitate outreach efforts, including educational tours and external community engagement opportunities
Support the planning and implementation of events ranging from large-scale community events to smaller in-terminal activities
Track, analyze, and provide reports on performance metrics for various communications channels
Anticipate and meet the needs of internal and external customers
Work collaboratively with other Airport departments, external stakeholders, and community partners on projects, events, and communication needs
Positively represent the Airport at various community events, networking opportunities, and industry conferences
Perform other duties as assigned
