Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior admission experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting strongly preferred
- Detail-oriented and organized with excellent multitasking skills
- Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and healthcare-related software platforms
- Ability to collaborate effectively with clinical and administrative teams
- Positive, composed, and dependable work attitude
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in skilled nursing facility (SNF), rehab, or healthcare admissions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Point Click Care (PCC), insurance portals such as NaviHealth, Availity, UHC
- Experience using hospital referral portals like AIDA, CarePort, Wellsky, EPIC
- Strong communication skills demonstrating empathy, clarity, and professionalism
- Ability to work collaboratively with nursing, clinical, and leadership staff
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Dependability and professionalism in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Job Duties
- Serve as the primary contact for all incoming referrals, calls, walk-ins, and inquiries
- Coordinate admission documentation completion, insurance verification, and pre-admission authorization
- Communicate clearly and professionally with hospitals, case managers, residents, families, and internal departments
- Ensure accurate data entry and timely updates in Point Click Care CRM
- Facilitate facility tours, referral follow-up, and participate in conversion strategies
- Maintain strong customer service standards at every touchpoint
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and administrative teams to ensure smooth admissions
- Ensure empty rooms are admit and tour ready on a daily basis
- Assist with marketing events, community outreach, and relationship development activities
