Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in sales or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in B2B sales or municipal sales environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated success in consultative sales and business development
  • Proficiency with CRM software and sales reporting tools
  • Ability to travel frequently within South Texas
  • Must be based in South Texas or willing to relocate
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Job Qualifications

  • Proven track record in business development, consultative sales, or municipal sales
  • Experience in public sector sales, lighting, infrastructure, or sustainable technology preferred
  • Ability to engage, present, and negotiate with government officials, partners, and contractors
  • Ability to assess market trends and drive standardization efforts across regions
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, email, and standard business systems for reporting and forecasting
  • Self-starter with strong listening and sales skills who thrives on achieving targets
  • Ability to travel regularly to meet with customers and develop the region effectively
  • Based in or able to work from south Texas area when not traveling

Job Duties

  • Identify & develop opportunities by building and managing a pipeline of projects
  • Lead municipal sales efforts, positioning Fonroche as the go-to solution for solar lighting adoption
  • Serve as the primary contact for municipalities, ensuring long-term engagement and repeat business
  • Explore new sales and market development strategies to accelerate growth
  • Become proficient in solar lighting principles and present the technical and cost-saving benefits to clients
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, reporting, and collaboration within CRM tools
  • Regularly meet with city, county and municipal leaders in person to build strong, trust-based partnerships
