Job Requirements
- Competence with laptop use and Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with CRM programs such as VIP Karma or Lilypad
- Valid driver license with a good driving record
- Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and more than 40 hours per week
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Availability for frequent travel including 3-4 overnight stays per month
- Must reside in designated territory (High Desert - Lancaster, Palmdale, Victorville, Apple Valley, Hesperia, Santa Clarita)
Job Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree
- Prior experience in a sales position
- Knowledge of Firestone Walker beers and other craft beers
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong persuasion skills
- Active listening skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Social perceptiveness
- Decision making skills
- Negotiation skills
- Cicerone or other beer certification preferred
Job Duties
- Pursue new On and Off-Premise distribution opportunities
- Call on existing key accounts to maintain and develop distribution
- Execute weekly promotions and special events to generate brand awareness
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with account staff and distributor sales personnel
- Set the standard for follow-up and follow-through in all activities
- Travel to company meetings and participate in market blitzes
- Complete necessary administrative reporting and communications on time
