Job Requirements

  • Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently
  • vision to see from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet with or without correction including color vision
  • ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
  • available for night and weekend shifts
  • successful completion of pre-employment drug screen is required
  • must report to work on time
  • adherence to company policies and personal hygiene standards

Job Qualifications

  • Two to four years of related work experience
  • combination of practical experience and education considered
  • ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization
  • ability to perform arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to compose correspondence and interpret technical manuals

Job Duties

  • Maintains a positive attitude and fosters teamwork
  • generates a friendly atmosphere by encouraging employees to greet guests and provides prompt, courteous service
  • sets department standards for customer service, employee relations, cleanliness, sanitation, professional appearance and profitability
  • smiles and greets guests in a friendly manner throughout the facility
  • learns guests' names and addresses them personally
  • answers telephone promptly and provides helpful service
  • works with chefs for efficient provisioning and purchasing
  • projects and controls food and beverage costs
  • supervises portion control to minimize waste
  • performs frequent quality checks
  • analyzes sales and trends
  • plans and executes marketing and special functions
  • monitors staff and guest compliance with health, safety and liquor regulations
  • maintains budget, employee records, and bookkeeping
  • investigates and resolves complaints concerning food quality and service
  • arranges maintenance and repair of equipment
  • calculates and ensures correct merchandise pricing
  • directs hiring, training, and scheduling of personnel
  • enforces sanitary practices and complies with health regulations
  • conducts inventory
  • plans displays and promotions
  • monitors food preparation and equipment maintenance
  • enforces personal hygiene and dress standards
  • adheres to company policies and store guidelines
  • reports to work as scheduled
  • forecasts sales for accurate ordering and scheduling
  • oversees department schedules
  • writes and adheres to budgets
  • manages all financial aspects including cash accountability and accounting practices
