Job Requirements
- Two to four years of related work experience
- ability to exert physical effort including lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally
- visual acuity including depth perception and color vision

Job Duties
- Maintains a positive attitude and creates an atmosphere of friendliness and fun through flexibility and teamwork
- generates a friendly atmosphere by encouraging employees to greet and speak to guests and provides prompt, courteous, and efficient service
- sets department standards for customer service, employee relations, cleanliness, sanitation, professional appearance and overall profitability
- smiles and greets guests throughout the facility
- learns guests' names and addresses them personally when possible
- answers telephone promptly and provides helpful service including taking product orders
- works with chefs for efficient provisioning and purchasing of supplies
- projects and controls food and beverage costs
- supervises portion control and preparation quantities to minimize waste
- performs frequent checks to ensure high-quality preparation and service
- analyzes weekly and monthly sales and trends and compares to actuals
- collaborates with management on marketing, advertising, and special functions
- monitors staff and guest adherence to health and safety standards and liquor regulations
- maintains budget and employee records and monitors bookkeeping
- investigates and resolves complaints regarding food quality and service
- arranges maintenance and repair of equipment
- ensures correct pricing of retail merchandise
- directs hiring, training, and scheduling of food service personnel
- enforces sanitary practices and complies with health regulations
- conducts inventory and plans displays and promotions
- monitors food preparation methods
- troubleshoots equipment and oversees maintenance
- maintains adherence to personal hygiene and dress codes
- adheres to company policies and is punctual
- forecasts sales for accurate ordering and scheduling
- oversees department schedules according to volume
- writes and adheres to yearly budget
- manages financial aspects of the business
- monitors and manages cash accountability and accounting practices
