Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- two to four years of related work experience
- ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally
- ability to perform physical activities including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
- ability to maintain impeccable personal hygiene and high work and safety standards
- ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization
- capability to perform arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages
- availability to work scheduled shifts promptly
- compliance with company policies and health and safety regulations
- successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen

Job Duties
- Maintains a positive attitude

- generates a friendly atmosphere by encouraging employees to greet and speak to guests
- sets the department standards for customer service, employee relations, cleanliness, sanitation, professional appearance and overall profitability
- smiles and greets guests in a friendly manner throughout the facility
- makes an effort to learn guests' names and address them by name
- answers telephone promptly and provides friendly, helpful service
- works with chefs for efficient provisioning and purchasing of supplies
- projects and controls food and beverage costs
- supervises portion control and quantities of preparation to minimize waste
- performs frequent checks to ensure consistent high quality of preparation and service
- analyzes sales and trends and compares to actuals
- plans and executes marketing, advertising and special restaurant functions
- monitors health and safety standards and liquor regulations
- maintains budget and employee records
- investigates and resolves complaints regarding food quality and service
- arranges maintenance and repair of equipment
- figures retail merchandise pricing and ensures correct pricing
- directs hiring, training and scheduling of staff
- enforces sanitary practices and complies with health and safety regulations
- conducts inventory and plans displays and promotions
- monitors food preparation methods
- troubleshoots and maintains equipment
- adheres to personal hygiene and dress guidelines
- reports to work on time
- forecasts sales and schedules staff appropriately
