Job Requirements
- Must be 18 or older
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 20 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly
- Visual acuity including vision from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet with or without correction, depth perception, color vision and field of vision
- Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
- Willingness to work in fast-paced, cool and warm environments with exposure to noise, vibrations, cleaning chemicals, and equipment hazards
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen
Job Qualifications
- High school or equivalent experience
- Six months or less of similar or related work experience
- Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization
- Ability to do simple addition and subtraction
- Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
- Ability to write identifying information and request supplies orally or in writing
Job Duties
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions and treating customers as the most important people in the store
- Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
- Makes an effort to learn customers' names and address them by name
- Assists customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach products, loading or unloading heavy items, noting and passing along customer suggestions
- Answers the telephone promptly and provides helpful service
- Works with co-workers as a team
- Prepares cooking surfaces and various menu items including vegetables, sides, meats, breakfast foods
- Places food in hot cases and refills as necessary
- Takes orders and prepares items for upcoming shifts
- Practices proper sanitation and keeps work area clean
- Maintains adherence to hygiene and dress standards
- Adheres to company policies and store guidelines
- Reports to work on time
