Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months or less of similar or related work experience
- Ability to solve practical problems
- Ability to perform simple addition and subtraction
- Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
- Ability to write identifying information
- Ability to work standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform physical activities including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to heat, cold, noise, chemical cleaning agents
- Ability to adhere to company dress and hygiene policies
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen
Job Qualifications

- Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions
- Ability to perform simple addition and subtraction, copy figures, count and record
- Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
- Ability to write identifying information and request supplies orally or in writing
- Knowledge of proper sanitation procedures
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong customer service skills
Job Duties
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions and treating customers as the most important people in the store
- Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner, whether the encounter takes place in the employee's designated department or elsewhere in the store
- Makes an effort to learn customers' names and to address them by name whenever possible
- Assists customers by escorting them to products, securing products that are out of reach, loading or unloading heavy items, passing along customer suggestions or requests, performing other tasks to enhance the shopping experience
- Answers the telephone promptly and provides friendly, helpful service to customers who call
- Works with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment
- Prepares cooking surfaces and various food items including vegetables, sides, meats, breakfast foods and all menu items
- Places food in hot cases, monitors amounts, refills as necessary
- Takes and processes guests' orders
- Prepares items for upcoming shifts
- Practices proper sanitation procedures and maintains a clean work area
- Maintains strict adherence to personal hygiene and dress standards
- Adheres to company policies and store guidelines
- Reports to work as scheduled and on time
