Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 20 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly
- Must be able to perform physical activities including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
- Vision requirements include the ability to see from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet with or without correction and color vision
- Ability to work in cool and warm environments with exposure to noise, equipment vibrations, cleaning chemicals, and hazards from slicers and choppers
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen
- Must report to work on time and as scheduled
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months or less of similar or related work experience
- Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization
- Basic math skills including addition and subtraction
- Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices preferred
Job Duties
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all interactions
- Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
- Makes an effort to learn customers' names and address them by name
- Assists customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach products, loading/unloading heavy items, noting and passing along suggestions
- Answers the telephone promptly and provides helpful service
- Prepares cooking surfaces and all menu items including vegetables, sides, meats, and breakfast foods
- Places food in hot cases, monitors amounts, and refills as necessary
- Takes guests' orders and prepares items for upcoming shifts
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation according to company procedures
- Adheres to personal hygiene, dress code, and company policies
- Reports to work as scheduled and on time
