Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months or less of similar or related work experience
- Ability to exert physical effort including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to perform activities like climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
- Visual capability including depth perception and color vision
- Ability to follow instructions and request supplies orally or in writing
- Willingness to adhere to company policies and standards
- Availability to work scheduled shifts punctually
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening

- Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization
- Ability to do simple addition and subtraction

Job Duties
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions
- Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
- Makes an effort to learn customers' names and address them by name
- Assists customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach products, loading or unloading heavy items, passing along customer suggestions, performing other tasks to enhance shopping experience
- Answers telephone promptly and provides friendly service
- Works with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction
- Prepares cooking surfaces, vegetables, sides, meats, breakfast foods and menu items
- Places food in hot cases, monitors amounts and refills
- Is knowledgeable of all menu items and able to take guests' orders
- Prepares items for upcoming shifts
- Ensures understanding of all aspects of Market Grille
- Practices proper sanitation and keeps work area clean
- Maintains adherence to hygiene and dress guidelines
- Adheres to company policies and store guidelines
- Reports to work on time and when scheduled
