Job Requirements

  • Sensitive Security Information access and successful TSA federal background check
  • ability to lift/carry 80 lbs
  • ability to push/pull 200 lbs
  • ability to move/manipulate equipment up to 1000 lbs using lifting devices
  • ability to work in extreme environments including temperature, humidity, noise, and confined spaces
  • excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • reliable and self-motivated
  • excellent telephone skills
  • ability to work outside Monday-Friday hours including overtime
  • compliance with company health, safety and environmental policies
  • legal work authorization in the U.S.

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or related trade certification in electrical, electronic or mechanical fields
  • military training in electrical, mechanical or electronics is acceptable
  • 1-3 years of experience in troubleshooting and field repair of electrical and electronic systems
  • computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office suite
  • excellent communication and customer service skills
  • ability to work well in a team
  • responsive to customer issues
  • willingness and ability to travel at short notice

Job Duties

  • Meet daily service repair needs and drive customer satisfaction
  • install, repair and maintain equipment in the field
  • provide customer training as required
  • document all inspections, maintenance and repair work and submit paperwork timely
  • order, install, and return parts and manage repair parts cycle time
  • review logs for open issues and prepare formal reports
  • participate in service sales opportunities and assist with revenue programs
  • ensure tools and test equipment are maintained and calibrated
  • assess product performance and recommend improvements
  • provide technical support to customers and service professionals
  • participate in site surveys and pilot programs
  • maintain clear business communications
  • establish relationships with senior FSEs and product managers
  • exercise cost control measures
  • comply with health, safety and environmental policies
  • comply with U.S. export and security regulations
  • travel and overtime as required
  • other duties as needed
