Job Requirements
- Must have fine dining experience
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette
- Knowledge of appropriate table settings, service ware, and menu items
- Ability to read, write, and speak English sufficient to understand menus and communicate with guests
- Ability to remember and promote menu items
- Ability to transport trays weighing up to 40 lbs throughout the shift
- Ability to operate beverage and toast equipment
- Ability to use a keyboard and learn Point-of-Sale procedures
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs with frequent lifting of 25 lbs
- Ability to walk, stand, reach, handle, talk, hear, and see to a significant degree
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Job Duties
- Check station before, during, and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness
- Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explain specials and promotions
- Record order details from guests and confirm accuracy
- Input orders into the Point-of-Sale system
- Retrieve and deliver food and beverages confirming order accuracy
- Replenish beverages and check guest satisfaction
- Market and serve dessert items and specialty coffees
- Present checks and process payments according to procedures
- Perform general cleaning tasks using hotel cleaning products
- Assist bus staff in clearing and resetting tables
- Restock condiments and side stands
- Answer telephone and take room service orders
- Handle special guest requests
- Attend required meetings
