Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cooking experience in a restaurant or similar setting
- Ability to use kitchen tools and equipment safely
- Physical ability to perform kitchen tasks including lifting up to 35 pounds
- Availability to work flexible hours
- Strong communication skills
- Team-oriented mindset
Job Qualifications
- Cook experience
- Experience using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware
- Ability to perform standing, bending, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 35 pounds
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule
Job Duties
- Maintain an active role in smoothness and efficiency of retail restaurant operations by producing and coordinating food items needed for daily menus and special events
- Maintain team awareness of inventory cost and profitability through proper use of production, build-to, and order sheets
- Communicate supply needs for production with head cook
- Check in with supervisor for any special preparation needed before starting normal kitchen duties
- Maintain equipment daily and report any malfunctions to leadership
