Job Description

Manatee Cove Marina, located on Patrick Space Force Base in Florida, is a recreational facility managed under the auspices of the Department of Defense. The marina offers a combination of boating amenities including wet and dry boat dockage, storage facilities, a membership program, and associated sales store operations encompassing food and beverage services. Job Requirements

  • complete background investigation with favorable results
  • subject to random drug testing
  • able to obtain government driver license
  • meet qualification, eligibility, and background requirements
  • U.S. citizenship or Non-U.S. nationals with 3 years residency
  • registered for Selective Service if applicable
  • direct deposit required

Job Qualifications

  • progressively responsible administrative or professional experience in management principles
  • experience in revenue-generating operations including budgeting, human resources, and facility management
  • supervisory experience in management operations
  • knowledge or experience in Department of Defense revenue-generating activities preferred
  • familiarity with leisure watercraft operations and boating safety rules
  • ability to obtain government driver license
  • successful completion of Tier I background investigation
  • ability to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends

Job Duties

  • manage economic and efficient operation of the marina including membership activity and sales store
  • supervise food and beverage operations and maintenance
  • oversee wet and dry boat dockage and storage management
  • implement policies, procedures, and programs to ensure recreational program quality
  • formulate and execute budgets and financial analysis according to Air Force standards
  • coordinate menu planning, purchase of supplies, and equipment through staff
  • develop and maintain membership programs and activities
  • manage workforce recruitment, training and staff development
  • advise on facility renovations and capital improvements
  • ensure proper military and civilian protocol
  • collaborate with Marina Club Board to maintain profitable and safe activities
  • perform other duties as assigned
