Job Requirements

  • Must have ability to communicate in English effectively
  • Microsoft Office proficient
  • ability to lift up to 50 lbs with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs
  • capable of walking or standing for significant periods
  • must possess physical abilities including reaching, handling, feeling, talking, hearing, and seeing
  • prior front desk experience preferred

  • Front desk experience preferred
  • effective communication skills in English
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • ability to provide outstanding customer service
  • familiarity with marina operations and boat terminology
  • capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and provide excellent customer service
  • process a variety of marina operations applications and forms
  • type reports, letters, and other communications
  • answer telephone
  • send/receive emails
  • maintain files
  • manage vendor invoices
  • maintain daily logs
  • prepare and execute various slip rental agreements
  • book fishing and catamaran charters for guests
  • meet and greet guests, respond to inquiries with factual and policy information in person or by telephone
  • record monthly charges for long-term guests
  • professionally operate and monitor VHF radio equipment using proper boat terminology
  • perform all other duties as assigned, including assisting docking vessels, bringing provisions to boats, and providing golf cart assistance to transport guests
  • maintain marina office cleanliness
