Job Requirements
- minimum of 2 years experience in a high-volume kitchen, preferably in a hotel or resort setting
- college degree or certification in culinary or hospitality field preferred
- strong leadership skills
- excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- ability to manage inventory
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- communicate daily with the executive chef regarding planning, staffing, and internal procedures
- complete daily food requisitions and daily specials
- assist in the hiring, training, and coaching of kitchen staff
- develop menu items in collaboration with the executive chef
- manage kitchen inventory including ordering and receiving products
- maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- ensure all dishes are prepared to high standards of quality and presentation
