Job Requirements

  • Read, write and speak and understand English
  • ability to understand financial goals and accomplish them
  • minimum 5 years cooking experience
  • minimum 2 years kitchen management experience
  • minimum 2 years banquet chef experience preferred
  • food/beverage service worker permit where applicable
  • ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees
  • meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction
  • no employee will pose a direct threat to the health/safety of self or others

Job Qualifications

  • College degree or certification in culinary or hospitality field preferred
  • minimum 5 years cooking experience
  • minimum 2 years kitchen management experience
  • minimum 2 years banquet chef experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate food preparation and kitchen activities
  • purchase and requisition ingredients, supplies, and equipment
  • participate in planning menus and controlling costs
  • supervise stewarding for cleanliness of kitchen and equipment
  • oversee cooks to maintain quality and preparation standards
  • manage inventory, storage, and distribution of food and supplies
  • ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
