Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior host/hostess or customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Basic computer skills for managing reservations
  • Friendly and professional demeanor
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English

Job Qualifications

  • Positive and outgoing personality
  • Basic knowledge of fine dining service
  • Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation software preferred
  • Experience in fine dining restaurants preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure calmly
  • Strong attention to detail and guest-focused service orientation

Job Duties

  • Greet guests promptly and warmly
  • Manage reservation system and waitlist effectively
  • Escort guests to their tables ensuring a comfortable seating experience
  • Communicate guest needs and preferences to team members
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and adjust seating flow accordingly
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area
  • Provide accurate information about the menu and restaurant policies
