Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior host/hostess or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic computer skills for managing reservations
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
Job Qualifications
- Positive and outgoing personality
- Basic knowledge of fine dining service
- Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation software preferred
- Experience in fine dining restaurants preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure calmly
- Strong attention to detail and guest-focused service orientation
Job Duties
- Greet guests promptly and warmly
- Manage reservation system and waitlist effectively
- Escort guests to their tables ensuring a comfortable seating experience
- Communicate guest needs and preferences to team members
- Monitor guest satisfaction and adjust seating flow accordingly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area
- Provide accurate information about the menu and restaurant policies
