Job Requirements
- Authorization to work in the United States unless currently in managerial role at another Four Seasons location
- College degree specializing in hotel or restaurant management or equivalent experience
- One to two years previous experience in assistant manager or department head position in Food & Beverage
- Working knowledge of division operations and Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, and standard operating procedures
- Knowledge of food and beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting
- Ability to operate computer equipment and other food and beverage computer systems
- Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
- Ability to work eight-to-ten-hour shifts with variable scheduled days and hours

Job Duties
- Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in the Mara Restaurant and Bar Mara outlets
- Assist in implementing and planning innovations and additions to the restaurant and bar year round
- Be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts
- Describe and ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods as well as provide knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegant environment
- Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, purchasing decisions, and inventory and control
- Attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments
- Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed
