Job Requirements

  • Must hold a Food Handlers certificate from an ANSI-accredited program
  • Must hold an Alcohol Serving certificate from an ABC-accredited program
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to walk and stand for a 6-8 hour shift
  • Ability to clearly articulate guests' needs to teammates
  • Professional, reliable, friendly, and punctual
  • Possesses and exhibits the drive to provide exceptional service
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Confident and takes pride in personal style and appearance
  • Must be able to work at a rapid pace while maintaining attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Exhibit an excellent service attitude and be willing to go out of your way to accommodate our guests
  • Adapt to accommodate the changing needs of the restaurant and guests
  • Maintain a high-level of professionalism and community
  • Ensure there is always enough backup liquor
  • Retrieve alcohol from the storage area if the bartender runs out
  • Change kegs when necessary
  • Pick up empty glasses and bottles from the tables and outside the bar
  • Wipe down tables and bar tops
  • Re-stock garnishes, mixes, glasses, and ice
  • Respect guests' right of way
  • Support the bartenders to ensure that guests are attended to
  • Other tasks as assigned
