Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in maintenance or related field
- Proficiency in English spoken and written
- Ability to safely exert physical effort and lift heavy weights
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical maintenance
- Ability to follow safety and health regulations
- Good communication skills
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
- Ability to handle chemicals properly
- Willingness to work with minimal supervision
- Teamwork mentality
Job Qualifications
- Working knowledge of all electrical supplies and equipment
- Knowledge of proper chemical handling and disposal
- Demonstrate pro-active working strategies and knowledge of health codes

- Work independently and with minimal supervision

- High school graduate or equivalent vocational training (desirable)
- Certification or completion of seminars for specialized training (desirable)
- Ability to perform basic carpentry skills (desirable)
Job Duties
- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards
- Demonstrate time management abilities by organizing daily tasks strategically to work efficiently and effectively and pro-actively maximize maintenance tasks for the benefit of the property
- Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment
- Use equipment only as intended
- Anticipate residents’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all residents
- Maintain positive resident and guest relations at all times
- Resolve property maintenance issues and resident complaints, follow up with affected parties to ensure resident satisfaction
