Job Requirements

  • Education as specified (2-year degree with relevant experience or 4-year degree with less experience)
  • Proven management experience in operations, sales, marketing, finance or related area
  • Ability to develop and execute business strategies
  • Strong leadership skills for managing executive committees and teams
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience with revenue and financial management

Job Qualifications

  • 2-year degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field with 8 years management experience
  • OR 4-year bachelor's degree with 6 years management experience
  • Experience in operations, sales, marketing, finance, and accounting
  • Preferred experience as general manager in limited or full-service property
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Demonstrated progressive career growth with exceptional performance in property industry

Job Duties

  • Develop business strategy staying current with industry trends
  • Execute business plans to maximize customer satisfaction and profitability
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop revenue strategies
  • Manage talent and organizational capability including coaching and development
  • Analyze business information to guide decision-making
  • Foster employee and labor relations maintaining open communication
  • Oversee revenue management to optimize pricing and occupancy
  • Build and maintain strong owner relations through proactive communication
  • Manage customer and public relations actively participating in community and guest engagement
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal and brand standards
