Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in food services management or related field
- Ten years of directly related experience or equivalent education and experience
- Formal culinary training or equivalent culinary experience
- Well-developed organizational skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Supervisory, conceptual and analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability in financial review of profit and loss statements
- Strong financial knowledge in food costs, labor costs and productivity
- Experience with food service management systems or similar recipe development/menu management systems
- Proficiency with database management, Microsoft Office, internet and email
- Knowledge of food service quality and safety, sustainability standards and applied nutrition
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Manage and support multi-unit operational managers ensuring operational excellence
- Translate and execute operational strategies through coaching and development
- Develop initiatives to enhance operations and increase stakeholder satisfaction
- Foster collaboration among various constituencies to align dining programs with college goals
- Provide leadership and mentoring to management and union staff
- Establish and monitor systems for quality assurance and safety compliance
- Oversee financial management including reviewing food and labor costs and preparing operational reports
