Job Requirements
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience serving as a general manager, managing director, vice president of operations, or in a comparable senior leadership role within a luxury, lifestyle, or mixed-use hospitality environment
- Extensive experience overseeing multi-department operations in a high-rise or full-service hotel environment
- Strong financial skills including P&L oversight, forecasting, and revenue strategy
- Proven success in luxury service leadership and team development
- Ability to lead both hotel and residential service components
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Bilingual (required): English and Spanish, with strong business communication skills including presenting to senior leadership, facilitating training sessions, and confidently engaging with ownership groups, franchise partners, and executive-level stakeholders
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a managing director, general manager, or senior executive in ultra-luxury hotels and/or residences
- Demonstrated success leading complex, high-profile properties, including pre-opening and capital planning
- Strong financial acumen with experience in asset management and owner relations
- Deep understanding of luxury service delivery and experience-driven hospitality
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to innovate while maintaining operational discipline
- Established network and strong market knowledge within Miami or comparable global luxury markets
- Inspirational, people-focused leader with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience managing homeowners associations (HOAs)
- Fluent in Spanish
Job Duties
- Provide visionary leadership and full accountability for all hotel and residential operations
- Set and execute the strategic direction of the property in alignment with ownership objectives and brand standards
- Lead and inspire the executive committee and department heads to achieve operational excellence and financial performance
- Establish the property as a market leader in luxury hospitality through innovation, service excellence, and experiential differentiation
- Lead the full critical path to opening, ensuring readiness across all departments
- Oversee recruitment, training, systems implementation, vendor selection, and operational testing
- Ensure seamless coordination between ownership, developers, designers, operators, and consultants
- Drive pre-opening budgets, timelines, and service culture activation
- Define and deliver an elite service philosophy that exceeds the expectations of luxury travelers and residents
- Foster a culture of creativity, personalization, and emotional engagement across all guest and resident touchpoints
- Champion innovation in service design, programming, amenities, and experiences to create a truly distinctive destination
- Ensure consistent delivery of five-star standards while remaining agile, entrepreneurial, and guest-centric
- Lead all financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, profitability, and long-term financial planning
- Oversee commercial strategy encompassing sales, marketing, revenue management, branding, and partnerships
- Lead capital planning, asset management initiatives, and long-range investment strategies to protect and enhance asset value
- Ensure disciplined cost management while supporting growth, innovation, and service excellence
- Serve as the primary liaison with ownership and key stakeholders
- Build trusted, transparent, and highly effective owner relationships
- Provide clear reporting, strategic insight, and recommendations to ownership
- Align operational decisions with ownership goals, return expectations, and long-term vision

- Lead the property’s Five Drivers of success, ensuring alignment and excellence across associate engagement, guest and resident experience, revenue growth and commercial performance, cost discipline and operational efficiency, asset value and long-term sustainability
- Translate these drivers into measurable outcomes and daily operational focus
- Leverage deep knowledge of the Miami luxury, hospitality, and real estate markets
- Build strong relationships with community leaders, influencers, partners, and industry stakeholders
- Position the property as a premier destination for luxury travelers, residents, and global tastemakers
- Act as a brand ambassador locally, nationally, and internationally
- Provide executive oversight of rooms operations, food and beverage concept and quality, sales and marketing, engineering and facilities, security and risk management, IT and digital innovation, human resources and compliance
- Ensure all operations meet or exceed regulatory, safety, and brand standards
